Class Descriptions

  • Surfset Fitness® – surf-inspired group fitness training. There are four signature programs.
    • Balance – great introduction to the surf board. Improve your balance, work on core strength, flexibility and body control.
    • Burn – work up a sweat in the high calorie burn class with high intensity intervals with balance work.
    • Build – bodyweight and resistance circuit training with balance work
    • Blend – a combination of all the classes in one – burn, build and balance.
  • Zumba Fitness® – Latin and international dance aerobics. Burn between 500-700 calories per hour, dancing to a variety of rhythms – salsa, cumbia, belly dancing, reggae, axe, samba, bollywood, banghra, top 40 and tons more – 16 different songs per hour! Great full body cardio workout! Tones your arms, legs/butt, and especially abs and hips! Zumba Toning® – add 1.25lbs or 2lbs toning sticks (weighted shaking maracas) to your Zumba Fitness® workout. Great for toning the arms and adding intensity to your workout.
  • Pilates – mat & stability ball – core/posture strength training; use of small equipment to tone and strengthen – bands, pilates weighted balls/rings, bender balls etc. Pilates improves balance, flexibility, coordination, and posture.
  • Yoga – a mat based, mind-body class working through various postures to improve balance, flexibility and strength – laying, sitting and standing.
  • Cardio Ballet – A combination of barre sculpting movements from fitness, pilates, and ballet; great exercise to tone the legs, butt, core and arms. A full body workout with cardio components throughout.
  • Buns & Bellies Bootcamp – a higher intensity class designed to give you a total body workout. Interval training, circuit training with use of equipment – free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, body bars, bosu and bender balls, bands, tubes, stability balls, steps and tons more!
  • Total Body Conditioning – a lower intensity mat based class designed to give you a total body workout using equipment – free weights, , bosu and bender balls, bands, tubes, stability balls, and ballet bar to sculpt and tone legs/butts and to help with posture and balance.
  • Old School Aerobics – Do you miss the good old days of cardio, high-low intervals, light weight toning classes. Well this class is for you! Get your cardio in, get your toning in. It’s a full body workout.
  • Fun Fit Kids– a fitness class just for kids ages 3-10 years old. Making fitness fun with Zumba®, circuit training, games, obstacle courses, and finishing wih Kids YOGA. Use of equipment like balls, bean bags, hula hoops, balance pods, snake beam, bosu ball jumpers, hurdles and tons more! Dancing, running and just having lots of fun!
  • Dance Fit – Kids just want to dance.  Parents just want kids to burn some energy. Kids will use a variety of different dance styles and  work on flexibility and strength, without all the festivals and expensive costumes.
